Science Centre Cardboard Automata

Yash's superb cardboard super minion machine

Today we built cardboard automatas. The way it works is you turn a crank and that turns the the Cam. The Cam turns the Cam Follower that turns the vertical rod that turns the design on the vertical rod. I enjoyed designing my creation. Super Minion is flying in the skys. Although if you see it now, it will look different because I added improvements. Cutting all the tape and paper was hard because the tape would not stick and the paper was small and had small designs. I learnt if you move the Cam to the 1st hole it will make the cardboard design go up, down and turning.

My name is Yash. I am 9 years old. I have sister named Ishita. She is 7 years old. I go to CIS, I am in grade 4. Ishita is in grade 2. I love technology and so when we do it at school I am really excited.I enjoy doing Social Studies and PE. I need to improve on my english skills and I am also pretty good at maths. My learning style is Hands-On because I love doing things with my hand and it is more fun to me. I love doing my ECA's and at recess time I play Hockey. I am improving day by day.
